International Exchange

Based on our educational philosophy of "fostering an international perspective and a heart that cares for others," we also organize international exchange events. The goal is for Usui International Academy students to serve as a bridge between foreigners and Japanese people living in Ota.

Usui International School, as a member of the organizing committee for the exchange group "LETS ENJOY IN OTA," holds international exchange events in Ota twice a year.

These events include Japanese cultural experiences, traditional costume contests, world quizzes, and many other activities. Amidst the culture shock, students have the opportunity to make friends with people from various countries and learn about unfamiliar worlds!

The exchange event between the NPO U no Kai and Usui International Academy has become a regular event. U no Kai is a student support organization created by Japanese alumni of Usui Gakuen, the foundation that operates Usui International Academy. Through interactions with the members of U no Kai, students are able to learn about Japanese university life, studies, and the experiences of their Japanese peers. Additionally, by using the Japanese they have studied to engage in real conversations with people of their own age, students gain confidence in their language skills.
